The Shaman Festival Tour is a traditional folk religious event that has been celebrated for over 1,400 years. The festival, known as Lurol (ཀླུ་རོལ་) in Tibetan—meaning “enjoying the Nagas”—takes place annually from June 17th to July 25th (according to the Chinese calendar).
Our Shaman Festival Tour is one of the most fascinating cultural experiences. In rural villages, locals perform sacred ceremonies to honor the mountain gods, pray for the well-being of their community, and seek blessings for a prosperous harvest. Find our office location on the map.
